one slip

so today was the day....well kind of....it was the fifty dollar game at gerners house and i was quite disappointed to see the turnout...only nine players willing to risk the money for the reward....sad, no doubt....anyways, the tournament started therefore hence....the first hour was the worst for me, i sat throught prob. 20 hands and didn't have anything higher than a jack....just horrid....about 45 minutes into the second hour there was still nobody knocked out....kinger and i were both short stacked, he ran at about 800 and i was down to like 1000 or something....he got knocked out...to tell you the truth i don't really remember a lot from hours 2-4 so i'm just going to make it up somewhat....i got my money in with the best hand everytime on allins and i managed to survive as short stack with minimal cards until we got down to the last 5....i won a few pots and managed to get to the middle of the pack and kloby and n00b got knocked out before me...truthfully, i was somewhat relieved but i wanted first place bad....the last hand(didnt' know it at the time of course) the community was like J 6 Q K A and I held A3....i bet 800 and gerner raised allin....i thought about it for a second and knew that he usually liked to try to use the allin when he had a second rate hand so i called and he showed the 10, gg....after loadman beat gerner heads up me, gerner, king, and ben went to cici's buffet which was excellent for the 4 bux it cost....good times, afterwards i came home and am very tired....im thinking of putting some more money online but first i want to get one of those real jobs lol and we'll see how it goes after that
