how sweet it feels

so after feeling the calm today my sleep was interrupted at like 830 by....none other than bethanne lol....she's like, "did i wake you up" and i was like....no, i usually like to wake at the crack of dawn for fun....haha no just kidding, much <333....anyways, i went back to sleep and had another of my very weird dreams...i've had one for like the last 2 weeks and before that i can't remember the last time i had a dream....maybe it means something is about to change, i doubt it though...so i actually woke up at like 1200 and got some pizza and then went to pick up lauren and bethanne....i took them home and chilled for the afternoon...i got the sh record though and found that the new quaker steak and lube place is opening so i intend to try to get a job there...so after that nayhouse gave me a ride to the baseball game....i'm not going to lie i was almost ready to quit that team before tonight because of the players on the team and not agreeing with the whole concept.....so i was just completely pissed at everything going over there tonight...i was reading my time magazine get more pissed at the wealthy aristocrats who are eating up the real estate market across the country...anyways we arrive to the game, stretch and warmup and stuff and then it starts...it's cool though cuz we only had 10 guys and no roger....and something that briggs said before the game immediatly changed my outlook...it was like, "these guys have wiped us out the last four years, we've only won twice." now, if you know me, any sort of underdog or revenge cause i'm all ears for that kind of thing....so anyways, we jumped on them early with a 2-0 lead....and conroy shut them down until the fourth when we expanded the lead to 4-0....the fifth inning the flood gates opened and we scored seven times to make it 11-0....the bottom half of the inning they made it interesting by scoring one run, but we still ten runned them....props to conroy for a gem of a game, personally i played horribly on offense goin 0-2 with a walk but my defense was stellar to make up for it...i don't know, somewhere during the game it just felt like...we got a sense of team identity...maybe it was looking at the hot girls or derek yelling shit as loud as he could but it was definitely good to beat a team that has trashed us for four years straight....afterwards, the team went to sugar and spice which was good and we just sat around talking baseball for awhile until it was time to go home....after i went to nayhouse's briefly and then went home....

i think it's amazing how your perception of the world changes when your mental attitude changes....you will always be faced with daunting tasks in your life but to overcome them and keep a good attitude about it is priceless....well that's all for now
