so i thought, well today is not going to be blogworthy at all....more or less, other than assorting random things in my room and playing some baseball with my brother, my day was highly uneventful...i played a seven card stud tourny where i was up and down and just playing quite stupidly to be frank...so logan im's me and asks if i want to play....i agree....i go there first at 730 and the game starts at around 8....i start off strong, not seeing many good hands but u know how it goes, i was able to make a few plays but then my mental attitude changed....i think i realized that i liked hangin out with them socially and playing cards with these guys and had no problem with the slow moving blinds at all....but for whatever reason, i completely lost interest in the game....i mean, there was immekus' game later that night, but idk why i just decided to start playing very stupidly....my allin was like 9-9 vs zack's A-10...he spiked an ace on the flop and that was game over...so in my mind i began crafting a plan on how i could fully gamble throughout the night....immekus event started at 9 and with the help of nayhouse i found the perfect "anti 11 o clock" scheme....anyways, the first game was a ten dollar game....i felt i played very well and accumulated almost 1/3 of the chips going into seven handed...however, my stack dwindled and i at one point was very close to short stack....when blinds rose though, i took command winning 4 or 5 big pots in a row....it got down to heads up where it was me v king...he had me about 3:1 and i found the perfect place to double up...or so i though....flop was KK2 and i had 32o and he bet allin....i knew he had overs but nothing yet....he turned over A10 and didn't look too displeased with the play....he must have known that runner Q-Q was coming to net him the win lol....just kidding, gg....in between game one and two there was just a lot of making fun of nick and everyone else(all in good humor) and nick earned the name "muddyfoot" for the dirtiness of his foot...the second game was just disaster for me....buyin was like 12 bux(wtf???) and i lost a huge pot to nick when he flopped a set and AK was no good after spiking a king....i ended up going allin with 15 outs to catch and 2 tries to catch them(45% to cass' two pair) and i hit neither, gg....so that game wound down and it was about 230 but nobody was ready to stop gambling....i ended up gaining great respect this night for kloby as he and i just went back and forth tearing nick apart....we even went as far as to say the next tourny u have to show a diploma and a driver's license to be allowed to play(if u don't know nick, that won't be funny) and the "nick immekus dropout/kickout(from h.s.) tournament"....great fun....going into the cash side games i had....eight dollars lol....but i scooped a queens and what follows pot early and doubled that up....at max i had like 55, but then the cards turned against me...i really feel that in queens i'm a big favorite to scoop the pot quite often b/c of my experience with the game, but the cards turned sour at about 4....it was the last rotation and i had only 11 dollars left...i should have saved it to go to eatnpark but by the time kloby followed nick's queen with a six, making sixes wild, i had quad nines....i raised kloby and he had only trip kings....sixth was a blank for both of us and seventh came devastation as a king fell and i failed to make five of a kind....oh well, i don't mind losing to ppl that i consider some of my better friends, seeing as i've won quite a bit from some of the games in the past....so after that, i just went to sleep and woke up at 5, got donuts, and departed for home....i'm exhausted, but i'm only gonna get like 4 hours of sleep and then i have to head to the bank and around to get stuff for the grad. party....
